Hi, I’m Elisabetta Testore,
an Italian–American Professional Tour Guide with a degree in Intercultural Communication and a lifelong passion for art, architecture, history, and meaningful travel.
Travel has shaped every important choice in my life. My journey in tourism began collaborating with major international travel companies such as Sol Melià, Costa Crociere, and Turismo Torino, where I worked as a tour leader, airport assistant, excursion manager, and tour guide.
A life dedicated to exploration.
Work and personal curiosity have taken me across the globe—from Norway to Greece, Morocco to Kenya, Thailand to Hong Kong, Brazil to Mexico, and all the way to Australia. Traveling for me is not just about visiting a place, but knowing, studying and experiencing. While guiding in Piedmont and Sardinia, I also promoted the region through my blog, EnjoyPiedmont.com, and authored Do-It-Yourself TURIN, my first guidebook.

From Italy to California and Florida.
A sedentary life has never suited me. In 2020, I moved to San Diego, collaborating with local tourism and hospitality organizations like the San Diego Unified School District and Inspirato LLC. Two years later, I embraced the East Coast, relocating to Miami to work as a Luxury Travel Designer for Italian destinations with See Italy Travel Inc. and Boost Journeys Inc., while immersing myself in Florida’s vibrant lifestyle.
The Enjoy Italy travel project.
After three and a half years in the United States, I returned to my beloved Turin and revived my Do-It-Yourself GUIDES project, inspired by my experiences abroad.
This blog is my invitation to discover the real Italy—not just the landmarks, but the living culture, traditions, and everyday life that define our home. Many visitors arrive with preconceived notions, only to find a country far more nuanced and vibrant than they expected. Here, I share the authentic Italy—its people, flavors, hidden corners, and practical wisdom—so you can experience it as we do, not as it’s often portrayed abroad. If you seek meaningful travel, respect for local ways, and a deeper connection to Italy, this is your guide. Welcome!
